Description: Fran Tarkenton autographed c.1960 Minnesota Vikings professional model/quality helmet. Riddell "Kra-Lite" helmet finished in classic Vikings purple has undercoatings of white and yellow forming the the famed team logos. Suspension interior is intact (minor chips to leather headband area) and marked with the size "7 1/8." Original "RK2" model label is inside along with a "G3" block letter stamp. Facemask is missing as are (2) of the anchor rivets. Strong usage wear evident throughout with scattered scrapes and scuffs (one of which is larger and has been touched up with purple paint). Mismatched jaw pads inside suggest at least (1) is a replacement. Signed "Fran Tarkenton HOF 86" in silver marker rating 8 out of 10.
