Description: Significant Joe Carr National Football League 10K gold presentational charm. Figural charm done to resemble a football complete with seams and stitching has been engraved, "National Football League, Jos. F. Carr Pres." It is marked just below, "10K." Assuming control of the NFL in 1922 the League flourished under Carr, who's no nonsense style of leadership gave the public confidence that is was being run in an open, forthright, and capable manner. Although diminutive in size (weighing just 5 grams) the offered charm is one of the more important pieces of early NFL jewelry to have entered the marketplace.
