Description: Rare Joe Carr American Basketball League 10K gold presentational charm. Figural charm done to resemble a basketball complete with seams and stitching has been engraved, "Joe F. Carr, Pres., American B.B. League." It is marked just below, "10K." The ABL was Carr's brain child and he established the League in 1925 while serving as Commissioner for the NFL. Through the League Carr would help to modernized basketball and bring the game to the forefront allowing it gain foothold as a viable professional sport.
