Description: Knute Rockne figural bookends from the Carr Collection with football book c.1930s. Pair of cast metal bookends offer a familiar bust of Rockne in slightly different configuration that we seen or offered in the past. Polished surfaces show a touch of light natural age and each has a faint mark (which appears to include 1931 date) on the back. Includes hardcover copy of "Functional Football" from the Carr collection and letter of provenance from the Carr Family: Bookends EX/MT, Book GD/VGEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
