On the interior lid is and applique which is gilt lettered with text of the "Hail To The Redskins" fight song. A small paper slip found inside has handwritten sentiment from Corrine Griffith, wife of noted team owner George Preston Marshall; presentational medal with upper bar engraved "Excellence" on front and "Joseph F. Carr" on the back. Lower portion is lettered "Bible History" on front and has presenters name on the back; and small basketball shaped figural charm marked "RG." Light to mild scattered wear.
