Description: 1907 Chicago Cubs Grignon postcards near set (12 of 16). Desirable regionally issued postcard set has portrait images of team members alongside a bear cub graphic and related caption. Includes Frank Chance, Johnny Evers, Joe Tinker, Mordecai Brown, Carl Lundgren, Orval Overall, Pat Moran, Jack Pfiester, Jim Slagle, Jack Taylor, Ed Ruelbach, and John Kling. The Tinker, Taylor, and Kling cards have not been postally used as is the case with Chance, Evers, and Overall however these later (3) have mounting damage/residue on back. Varying degrees of handling and age related wear throughout with a more detailed breakdown available upon request.
