Description: Gabby Hartnett store model glove in original box c.1930s. Desirable original store display box features a generously oversized image of Hartnett on top and advertises his signature "Junior Model Catcher's Mitt" inside. Box offers very nice overall display qualities despite wear including scattered wrinkles/creases, some corner/edge chipping, and a few minor tears separations to flaps. There is a more pronounced separation along top seam. Bottom portion has several flaws. Matching buckle backed mitt shows usage and general age wear with readily visible stampings.
