Red and blue stitched Reach B.Johnson Official American League baseball bears a side panel notation done in the period which reads, "New York Yankees 1927." It has been signed by (17) incl. Babe Ruth, Earle Combs, Joe Giard, Charles O'Leary, Ben Paschal, Mike Gazella, Mark Koenig, Doc Woods, Walter Beall, Bob Meusel, Joe Dugan, Ray Morehart, George Pipgras, Cedric Durst and noted umpire Clarence Rowland. In addition, players Eddie Phillips and George "Kiddo" Davis have also signed whom were only with the team in Spring Training and serve to confirm the dating. All are done in period fountain pen rating an avg. 7 out of 10 with a few lesser. Ball has toned and has scattered areas of surface wear.
