Description: Rare c.1934 Arky Vaughan professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat with Vaughn facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 37.4oz. Centerbrand dating would place the bat in the 1934-43 era with 37oz. bats only listed as having shipped to Vaughn in 1934. Usage wear is evident throughout including ball, stitch, and cleat marks and the knob has been restored. Then in his third season with the Pirates, Vaughn made the first of his (9) All-Star Game appearances in 1934 and would claim the National League batting title the following year.
