"Chieftain" portable typewriter having metal placard affixed at the top which reads, "Chicago Sun-Times Jerome Holtzman." Well used by the famed sportwriter with additional age related wear/soiling including some tarnish/corrosion. Includes the original carrying case, an image of Holtzman seated behind the typewriter at work in the press box, his 1976 White Sox press pass, and several pages of handwritten and typed/notes and article drafts.
