Description: Lew Fonseca professional model baseball bat side written 1934. Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat with Fonseca facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 34" long and weighs 34.2oz. Strong evident usage wear with ball, stitch, and cleat marks scattered about the barrel. Side written in grease pencil with Fonseca's name and 1934 date along with "Chicago Am. Lea" team name. A handle crack has been professionally repaired and it is likely that some other cosmetic restorative work was done. A choice example placed directly in the hands of the one time Batting Champion.
