Description: Johnny Mostil professional model baseball bat c.1926-29. Spalding brand "Hand Turned" bat with Mostil facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 34.5" long and weighs 39.9oz. Heavily used with ball, contact, and cleat marks throughout the barrel which has a pair of initials carved in. A large portion of the handle is wrapped in vintage tape. A rare bat dating to the era in which Mostil twice lead the League in stolen bases (1925 and 26). Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and there is a MEARS authentication sticker affixed (letter not present however a grade of "A7" is listed in the online database): EXEstimated Price Range: ($300-$500)
