Description: Fine Babe Ruth single signed baseball c.1940s. Wilson "Official Pacific Coast League" baseball has been signed across the sweetspot, "Babe Ruth." The bold blue fountain pen signature rates 7-7/8 out of 10. A strip of tape applied over the autograph to aid in preservation long ago has toned. The ball surface displays a touch of light even toning and there are a pair of small imperfections (one a nick, the other a spot) on one panel. An ideal example offering fantastic display value.
