Description: Rare George Sisler single signed baseball c.1920s. Red and black stitched Spalding Official National League baseball has been signed across the side panel, "George Sisler." Period fountain pen signature rates 7 to 7/8 out of 10. Ball displays mild even toning with a touch of very minor scattered wear including small surface abrasion on side panel. Stampings have faded but there are vestiges of commissioner's facsimile signature on side panel (presumably Heydler). Faint vestiges of what we presume to be a date notation appear below the signature. Fine playing career exemplar of an original Hall of Fame class inductee.
