Description: Rare Johnny Bench autographed professional model catcher+s helmet c.1970s. Molded red plastic helmet has been modified to remove the ear and brim flaps. In addition, a large portion of an upper layer of the interior padding was either removed or wore off while in use. Player number -5+ is stamped on the outside. Mild usage and some general age related wear can be found throughout and it has been signed in black marker, -Johnny Bench+ rating 8/9 out of 10 and inscribed -Game Used.+ Includes auction LOA from JSA, LOA from Hunt Auctions, and letter of provenance from Johnny Bench: EXEstimated Price Range: ($2,000-$3,000)
