Description: 1965 Alex Sandusky "Pride and Courage of the Colts" presentational plaque from team owner Carroll Rosenbloom. Black wooden placard (10"x12") has affixed metal plate, done in scroll style, with an enameled Colts logo affixed at top. Text reads in full, "The pride and courage of the Colts of 1965 and the name of Alex Sandusky will live in the memories of football fans everywhere, long after championships have been forgotten. Carroll Rosenbloom." Rosenbloom was stewart of the Colts from 1953 to 1971 overseeing (3) Championship teams and was highly regarded by both players and the fans of Baltimore. A figural football player, with Colts logo helmet, is mounted to one side (leg on which it stands is broken at ankle but remains in upright position). Touch of scattered wear: VG-EX
