Description: 1953 Baltimore Colts Gunther Beer hand embellished advertising display. Rare large format advertising piece as issued during the Colts Inaugural season is comprised of an oversized photographic print mounted to board with non-image portion having hand painted text. In addition, the bottle cap decoration has been likewise applied by hand. Team members and Coaches are shown above the angled slogan and skillfully executed period artwork. Framed to 27.5"x38" with mild visible wear to include some small tack holes, (2) or (3) small spots of paper/surface loss, and some mild moisture damage to the non-photo portion. There is some paint chipping/flaking to cap decoration which has also faded slightly. Likely unique and possibly served as the original off of which others were intended to be produced: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,000)
