Description: Pete Rose autographed professional model baseball bat c.1970s. Adirondack 302 model bat with Rose name block lettered into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 35.4oz. Model number "69A" has been factory stamped into the knob. Usage wear evident throughout with grain swelling to the barrel which has deeply impressed ball and stitch marks and some red rack streaks. Handle has a very small crack and retains a light coat of pine tar. Vestiges of the red ring typically found just above can been seen but it appears to have been purposefully removed (given consistent appearance of finish/surface this was likely done in the period). Signed in vintage ink "Pete R" rating 7/8 out of 10. Nice example dating to a storied period of Rose's career.
