Description: Ty Cobb and Walter Johnson autographed baseball c.1919. Red and blue stitched Reach B.Johnson Official American League baseball has been signed on the side panel, "Ty Cobb" with "Walter Johnson" appearing directly below. Fountain pen signatures rate 7 out of 10. A notation of "Aug 1919" is written below in unknown hand. The ball displays light even toning with a few nearly incidental scattered imperfections. Through the early part of the 20th Century both Cobb and Johnson dominated the game of baseball with one proving to be perhaps the greatest batsman the game has ever seen and the other equally as skilled on the pitchers' mound.
