Description: UPDATED DESCRIPTION/ESTIMATE:Don Newcombe autographed professional model baseball bat c.1950s. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with "Newcombe" block lettered into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 31.1oz. Model number H172 is stamped in the knob. Usage wear is evident throughout with ball and cleat marks along with some other surface wear. A handle crack has been repaired and tape removed with some resulting discoloration. Signed in marker "Don Newcombe" rating 9 out of 10 and inscribed with numerous career related stats. A key member of the Dodgers pitching rotation throughout the 1950s, he was until recently the only man in history to have earned Rookie of The Year, Most Valuable Player, and Cy Young Awards.
