Description: Vintage Baseball themed lamp incl. 1958 Kansas City Athletics team signed ball. Nicely done display piece incorporates sections of a Harry Craft professional model baseball bat (the knob, centerbrand, and facsimile signature portions) which form the body of a lamp. These are set atop a circular wooden base and MacGregor brand Craft signature model glove. Nestled in between is a team signed baseball with approx. (18) visible autographs. Notables incl. Roger Maris, Harry Craft, Bob Cerv, Harry Simpson, and Del Crandall. Ink signatures rate 7 to 8/9 out of 10 and the ball has mild toning and a touch of wear (inherent to the design of the lamp, there is presumed to be a hole drilled through it's center). Stands 19" tall with some light natural ageing. It has been relayed by our consignor that the lamp was made by Harry Craft and served as a functional piece in his home.
