Description: 1961 Cincinnati Reds National League Championship ring. Vintage ring as crafted in honor of the Reds NL pennant winning season which led them to a World Series appearance against the New York Yankees. Top of the ring features an inset half carat diamond on a red field with "National League Champions" lettering surrounding. One side panel features Reds logo above a baseball dated 1961 with the other side panel picturing the Reds mascot. Interior ring band is marked "Josten 14K". The offered ring appears to have not been specifically issued to a player, front office member, or organizational staff member remaining without an engraved recipient name on interior band as seen on several other known exemplars.
