Original postal cover as issued in commemoration of the June 12, 1939 Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies held at the inaugural opening of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Large format cover measuring 4 1/4" x 9 1/2" featuring decorative image of Doubleday Field at left end and has been postmarked June 12, 1939 at Cooperstown, NY. The cover has been signed by an amazing grouping of (23) ceremonial participants to include Babe Ruth, Tris Speaker, Cy Young, Walter Johnson, G.C. Alexander, Eddie Collins, George Sisler, Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, Connie Mack, Kennesaw M. Landis, Clark Griffith, Bill Terry, Ford Frick, Warren Giles, W.B. Archivally matted and framed for display with an 8"x10" image taken at the 1939 Hall of Fame ceremonies. Superb rarity ranking as one fo the finer baseball autographed pieces of its type that we have offered. Includes auction LOA from JSA:
