Description: Pete Rose autographed professional model baseball bat c.1965-68. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Rose facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 36" long and weighs 32.5oz. Model number "S222" is stamped in the knob. Strong usage wear evident throughout with deeply embedded ball and stitch marks primiarly situated on the lower hitting surface which has some grain swelling due to repeated contact. There are also some red rack streaks and pine tar on remains on cracked handle. A large vintage "Best Wishes, Pete Rose" signature rating 8 out of 10 is ideally positioned for display and serves to place the bat in his hands in the period.
