Description: Ken Heintzelman Philadelphia Phillies home jersey c.1950. Beautiful cream color pinstriped flannel shirt retains its original embroidered team name across the front with #27 on the reverse. "Heintzelman" chain is stitched on a strip tag inside the collar. Wilson tag and size 44 flag tag/dry clean tag remain affixed to the tail. There is a 3 inch slit on the top right shoulder. Based on style and player dating, we believe the shirt dates to the Phillies 1950 NL Championship season, although it could possibly date to the 1952 season. Very fine example.
