Description: Significant Jim Langer 1972 Miami Dolphins Super Bowl Championship ring. Exceptional offering represents one of the most important Super Bowl Championship rings which has ever reached the market. A select few of the original presentational rings awarded to players and team personnel have ever found their way into public hands. It is not a stretch to place this example, as relates to a key team member and Hall of Fame inductee, among the elite pieces of Championship jewelry in private hands. Top face features a large solitaire diamond at center of a clear color open field with (16) smaller diamonds accenting the interior beveled edge. The outside reads, “1972 Miami Dolphins World Champions.” Left shank has the name “Langer” at top with a relief of the team logo below which is captioned “Winning Edge.” Right has “Super Bowl VII” atop of the trophy and game scores with the Dolphins “17 0” record flanking either side. “Perfect Season” is block lettered at bottom. Engraved “Jim Langer” on the interior band which is stamped “Jostens 14K.” Size (13) with a touch of light wear. Weighs (45) grams.
