Description: 1962 Washington Redskins professional model jersey. White dureen jersey accented maroon shoulder stripes and collar trim has player number "40" sewn on front, back, and sleeves. "Sand Knit" manufacturers tag on crotch strap notes the size (46) and below is a "62" embroidered year tag. Very well preserved displaying light evident useage and wash wear. This number was not issued to rostered player in 1962 however the shirt remains an exceptional and all original period example of an exceedingly rare style.
