Description: Professional model football helmet with strong Steelers attribution c.1970s. Black helmet with yellow accent displays usage wear with moderate scuffing throughout. Interior padding is intact and there are numerous labels, and remnants thereof, including a 1979 dated reconditioning label. While no team logo decal is present we are reasonably confindent, though not 100% certain, that the helmet relates to the Steelers and likely had the team logo removed during reconditioning and was possibly used in practice later. "Riddell" logo above facemask and the chinstrap are later period. Includes letter of provenance from the Cupon family: EXEstimated Price Range: ($200-$400)
