Description: Vintage Wrigley Field "W.F." flag with Cubs team provenance. Red, white, and blue flag with "W.F." block lettered on either side, denoting Wrigley Field, as flew over the historic Chicago venue. Displays wear consistent with long term outdoor use inclusive of mild soiling/discoloration and some tattering to pointed ends. Includes 1982 dated letter on team stationary stating that they "...are happy to donate a flag which has flown over Wrigley Field..." and the original heavy cardboard stock mailing envelope in which it was sent.
