Description: Extremely rare 1943 St. Louis Cardinals World Series press pin. 2" Button style press pin dates to the War Years and as a result of metal shortages was manufactured out of paper and cardboard. The plastic overlay which at one time covered the front is missing. Displays minor age toning and some waviness to the piece overall (along with some mild general wear) suggesting that it may have been exposed to moisture at some point. Intact safety pin style back.
