Description: Willie Stargell professional model baseball bat c.1980-82. Louisville Slugger 125 model K44 baseball bat with Stargell facsimile signature burned into the barrel end measures 36" long and weighs 36.2oz. Evident usage wear with contact marks to barrel end and tape wrapped handle which retains a generous coat of pine tar. Player number "8" is written on knob end in black marker. Very nice late career example with original handle tape done in similar style to that which "Pops" can be seen utilizing in many period photographs.
