Description: Pete Rose professional model baseball bat c.1977-79. Louisville Slugger 125 model R195 baseball bat with Rose facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 34.2oz. Nice use is evident throughout with ball and stitch marks to barrel which are primarily concentrated on either side of the barrel along with some cleat marks. Light application of pine tar remains on handle and black marker "14" number is written on the knob. Strong mid-career example dating to the period in which Rose collected his 3,000th hit and embarked on a National League record tying (44) game hitting streak.
