Description: 1976 Rod Carew professional model bicentennial bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model C243 baseball bat measures 34.5" long and weighs 30.2oz. Carew facsimile signature and the bicentennial logo are burned into the barrel. Very strong usage wear is evident throughout with deeply impressed ball and stitch marks along with some cleat marks and grain swelling. Moderate pine tar remains on the handle which has a severe crack at upper portion and minor crack closer to knob. Sought after year specific example dates to the heart of Carew's Hall of Fame career when he was in the midst of compiling (7) American League batting titles.
