Description: Rare 1952 George Strickland Pittsburgh Pirates professional model road jersey. Grey flannel jersey retaining its original "Pittsburgh" team lettering across the front with original #14 on the back. MacGregor Goldsmith tagging inside collar along with "Strickland" chain stitched onto strip tagging. An additional name of "Senerchia" is written in black marker likely denoting Minor League player who inherited the jersey. "Set 1 1952" flag tag found inside the tail front. Excellent general condition with evident use while retraining original color and surface. Very uncommon early Pirates jersey style.
