Description: Ken Boyer professional model baseball bat c.1968-69. Adirondack 302 model bat with "Ken Boyer" block lettered into the barrel end measures 36" long and weighs 39.8oz. Player number "45" is written on either end in vintage black marker. Strong usage wear is evident throughout with ball, transfer, and contact marks along with a hint of grain swelling. Entering the League in 1955 Boyer became a mainstay on the St. Louis Cardinals roster and would help lead the team to a World Series title in 1964; the same season he was voted the National League's Most Valuable Player. He later spent time with the Mets, White Sox, and Dodgers appearing in (11) MLB All-Star Games exhibitions and was awarded (5) Gold Gloves for his play in the field.
