Description: April 5, 1993 Colorado Rockies Inaugural game lineup cards and game ball. Rawlings W.White ONL baseball as used in the game which was played at Shea Stadium and marked the first in history for the expansion Colorado Rockies. Retained by Jeff Torborg, then Manager of the Mets, and signed on the sweetspot with numerous game related notations throughout. The Mets won 3-0 with Doc Gooden throwing a complete game shutout; carbon copy lineup cards (similarly retained by Torborg with originals submitted to Umpires) each have a pair of light fold lines and a touch of other wear. The Mets card has been gone over by Torborg whom has added game related notations/changes. He has also notated, to lesser degree, the Rockies card. Includes auction LOA from JSA: Overall EX, Sig.
