Description: Mickey Vernon, Bill Klaus, and Birdie Tebbets professional model baseball bats c.1940s-50s. Includes c.1950s Mickey Vernon professional model "A60" bat (facsimile signature burned into barrel end) which measures 34.5" long and weighs 32.2oz. Evident usage wear includes contact marks on the hitting surface which shows some grain separation; c.1950s Bill Klaus professional model "H117" bat (facsimile signature burned into barrel end) which measures 34" long and weighs 33.4oz. Mild surface and usage wear; late 1940s Louisville Slugger 125 bat with "G. Bird Tebbets" signature burned into the barrel and model "V-4" stamped in knob which has period "8" player number written on. Strong usage wear evident throughout and the back third of barrel has been removed and resulting flat surface bears several ink notations.
