Description: Steve Carlton's 2008 MLB All-Star Game on-field used Player Placement Star. Original star shaped placeholder with "All Star Game Hall of Fame Celebration" titling along with Hall of Fame and MLB logos has "Steve Carlton" name lettered on at center. Used on field to denote Carlton's position for the ceremonies which took place just prior to the July 15, 2008 game at Yankee Stadium for which there were more than (40) HOF Inductees on hand (and displays light expected surface soiling). Tastefully displayed in 34.25" square frame with descriptive placard and a pair of commemorative coins inset (one of which contains infield dirt from Yankee Stadium).
