Description: 1907 Boston Doves Opening Day vs. Brooklyn Superbas, large format glass plate negative. Exceedingly rare early view can be dated through the black bow observed over team logo on jersey of the batter. This was worn for the April 12th game in honor of Cozy Dolan who succumbed to Typhoid Fever just a few days prior. General wear throughout with some very small flaws in central portion and slightly more pronounced loss at edges. Approximately 5"x7".
