Description: Early baseball in Boston related photography c.1910s, lot of (4) glass plate negatives. Includes fine image of a capacity crowd at Fenway Park with large advertising billboard for "Baseball Magazine" visible c.1914; shot of a large spectator group which is headed to the 1912 World Series (as noted on envelope); view of stands filled with spectators which is identified as having been taken on September 18, 1915 as the Red Sox played the Tigers; and scene of game in play with top hat wearing fans filling the stands at what is believed to be the South End Grounds. Touch of incidental wear and a hint of very mild toning throughout. Includes letter of provenance from the Brearley Family: EX-EX/MT
