Description: Ted Williams autographed 1966 All-Star Game professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34.75" long and weighs 31.4 oz. Stamped with Williams facsimile signature on barrel with "All Star Game" block lettered above and "1966 - Saint Louis" below. Model "W215" is impressed in the knob. Signed on the barrel in blue marker, "Ted Williams" rating 8/9 out of 10 with little to no evident usage wear and just a hint of incidental surface wear. A (19) time All-Star during his playing days, Williams was serving as an honorary coach for the festivities in St. Louis; later that same month he would attend ceremonies marking his Induction into Baseball's Hall of Fame. All-Star bats are particularly desirable given their limited issue and relation to specific high profile events. Upper tier player bats seldom come to market with this being one of only a handful of Williams related examples to have surfaced and one of an even smaller number which he signed.
