Description: Early 1980s Jim Rice autographed professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 baseball bat with Rice facsimile signature and model number "R212" burned into the barrel measures 36" long and weighs 34.4oz. Striking display value with strong visible usage wear including ball, stitch, and rack marks along with grain swelling due to repeated contact. Heavy coat of pine tar remains from knob to just short of centerbrand. Vintage faded marker notation on the knob appears to be a "14" player number with additional numbers below (likely length or weight). Desirable vintage "Jim Rice" signature (marker rating 7 to 7/8 out of 10) further places the bat in his hands in the period.
