Description: Fine Johnny Pesky professional model baseball glove c.1940s. Rawlings “Professional Model” left handed glove (“Ken Keltner” facsimile signature stamped in) has faint ‘Pesky” name written across the wrist strap in faded marker next to partially defined (but intact) manufacturer's tag. Strong usage is evident throughout though the leather remains supple. Especially desirable first hand sourced piece of game equipment from a stand out 40s era player and the only such example within the Pesky collection.
