Description: May 4, 1921 Toronto vs. Baltimore Opening Day baseball panoramic photograph with rookie Lefty Grove. Stunning image picturing the two International League teams posed in full uniform on the field at Toronto. Original scoreboard provides a fine backdrop inclusive of a huge Coca Cola advertising sign. Notably, among the Baltimore players is a tall young pitcher by the name of Lefty Grove. Photo measure 9 1/2"x51" in its original wooden frame presenting beautifully with original tonality and contrast. The photo has two small professional repairs to back tears and an area of inpainting to a relatively small 3" area at the far right edge. Titled and dated at bottom center marked by photographer, "Alexandra Studios". First example of this particular image we have encountered.
