Description: 1993 Curt Schilling autographed Philadelphia Phillies professional model World Series road jersey. Road gray jersey as worn by Curt Schilling during the 1993 World Series as he threw during the Series opener in Toronto on October 16th. "Phillies" team name lettered across the front in logo font and player name/number "Schilling 38" on back. Number also appears on left sleeve and right sleeve has "1993 World Series" patch. Russell Athletic manufacturer's tag on front tail with the size, "48" and adjacent "100% Polyester" and "2" Extra Body Length" flag tags. Signed on back "Curt Schilling 1993 World Series 10/16/93 Game 1" in blue marker rating 8 out of 10. Evident usage and wash wear throughout. The jersey was proudly displayed within the Schilling home for many years and as a result there are a series of minute scattered pinholes from mounting; these are mentioned for the sake of accuracy and are only visible upon close examination. Highly desirable World Series jersey with direct chain of first hand provenance to one of the premier big game pitchers of our time. Included are a pair of road gray pants with red/white piping along either side. In the waist is a "Russell Atheletic" manuf. tag with the size "37" and adjacent "Intera" flag tag. Also present is a printed strip tag reading "37-30-93." The number "38" has been written in black marker and an additional number has been partially obscured.
