Description: Vintage baseball "prototype" uniform with attribution to the Philadelphia Athletics c.1940s. Pinstriped white flannel jersey and pants have a white on blue "A" on the jersey front and #22 on back. Pearson mfg. labeling is affixed to the collar area. Pearson Sporting Goods was trying become the Athletics' jersey manufacturer in the late 1940s (they eventually got the account in the 1950s) and it is believed that the offered uniform was created by Pearson as a sample or prototype in pursuit of that business: EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
