Description: Fine Mickey Mantle professional model baseball bat c.1965-68. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 31.2oz. The bat exhibits superb usage characteristics including rack marks, pine tar residue, extensive ball marks, stitching impressions and light checking to the barrel surface. Knob end is stamped with M110 model number along with "32" written in period pencil which references the bat weight. The offered example remains in outstanding original condition and was given directly by Mantle to the Detroit Tigers visiting team bat boy during the late 1960s. Mickey Mantle game used baseball bats of this quality are highly desirable with the offered example ranking as one of the finest we have handled. First public offering of this fine game bat with note to strong usage characteristics and impeccable provenance.
