Description: Rare Casey Stengel single signed baseball bat with photographic documentation c.1950s. Diminutive 25" long youth size baseball bat was presented by Stengel to a young admirer as captured in an endearing period photograph (included). The bat is signed on the barrel end by Stengel in blue ink rating 8 out of 10. Signature is nicely preserved by a light clear coat. The offered bat is the first example signed by Casey Stengel that we have encountered. Rare signed piece with desirable period photographic provenance.
