Description: Iron City B.B.C. large format baseball team cabinet photograph c.1870-80s. Large format 12"x15" albumen cabinet mounted image picturing the 19th century Iron City baseball club posed in a formal studio setting wearing full uniforms with high top lace up cleats. Numerous elongated 19th century bats are visible with player stockings having hand tinted blue color added by the photographer. The photo remains in its original Victorian walnut frame with team identification stenciled within the original mount. Light soiling to the surface with some minor age fading.
