Housed within a uniquely done presentational wooden box; 1997 dated lucite award piece with "Minnie Minoso" lettered on base front and upright back reading in part, "Recognition of Service to The Negro Leagues+1997"; larger piece (9.75" tall) with upright section of glass reading "In recognition of the courage, spirit, and excellence demonstrated as in the integration pioneer for the Chicago White Sox, Orestes Minnie Minoso...University of Illinois, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Commemoration Plannning Committee"; and homeplate shaped lucite piece with etched player likeness and "Minnie Minoso Branch Rickey Award Nominee 2001" text.
